THE TRANSPORT OF DANGEROUS GOODS
STALLION TRANSPORT has intensively dealt with the transport of dangerous goods for the past 10 years and we are proud to say that we have not had a single spillage or incident that included hazardous substances. Our vehicles, drivers and staff have bee sufficiently trained to handle the dangers of the products that we carry. All our vehicles also comply with the provisions of chapter VIII of the National Road Traffic Act no.96 of 1996. We have entered into a contract with one of the biggest emergency response services as our backup system. We handle the transport of these dangerous goods on flat bed trailers only. The dangerous goods are usually transported in steel drums or in ISO containers (tank containers). Although we are equipped to handle almost any kind of packaging. Stallion transport is committed to the utmost health and safety of other road users and of the environment and has therefor started a quality system that is inline with the international standerd set by CEFIC, Europe's leader in dangerous goods and the recommendations for the transport of it. By this, we hope to increase our service to all our clients and strive to maintain our no spill record.
